Welcome to my studio! I'm excited to share a glimpse into the space where I spend most of my creative time. This converted warehouse studio has been my artistic home for the past three years, and it's where all the magic happens.

The Space

The studio features large north-facing windows that provide consistent, natural light throughout the day - essential for color accuracy in my work. The high ceilings accommodate larger canvases, while multiple easels allow me to work on several pieces simultaneously.

Current Projects

Right now, I'm working on a series exploring the relationship between urban landscapes and natural forms. You can see several canvases in various stages of completion, from initial sketches to nearly finished pieces. Each work goes through multiple layers and revisions as the composition evolves.

Materials and Tools

My palette consists primarily of oil paints, though I also incorporate mixed media elements like charcoal, pastels, and occasionally found objects. The tool wall houses an extensive collection of brushes, palette knives, and other implements collected over years of experimentation.

The Process

Every piece begins with observational sketches, often created during walks around the city or time spent in nature. These sketches inform the larger studio works, though the final pieces often evolve far beyond their initial inspiration.

I hope this peek behind the curtain gives you insight into how the work comes together. The studio is truly the heart of my artistic practice.
